In our day camp for 6-12 year olds, campers created their own Kite Builder's Club building kites of all shapes and sizes. Beth Queen and Alex Dolge, Camp Leaders had them all flying high!

3-6 Year Olds "cooking concoctions" at Summer Fun
Fabulous Physics Science Camp Was a HIT!
Although my 6-year old was the youngest in the class, he kept up with the big boys and soaked it all up. I have him enrolled in the other three science camps this summer and he doesn't want to miss it. Here's what my 6-year old say:
"It was so much fun! Going to science camp was better than Legos! The coolest thing I learned was how friction affects things that move. Making my car to go fast was the best!"
What did your child think about camp?
"Sara is a great Science teacher, she made physics really fun. Newton's Laws are interesting. I liked doing so many hands-on activities, I remember things better that way".
- Emma, 12 year-old Science-Camper
"From the first science: I just love this camp, and you get to keep everything you make!"- Bryce, 11 year old Science Camper

Monart Success!

We had a successful week of Monart at CVIS with 24 students attending. I wanted to share some of my son's artwork that he created in Wendy's Monart class for 6-8 year olds this past week. Simply amazing. Bravo Koa! Bravo Wendy!
Parents, we'd love to see your children's artwork. Please post their works of art for all to enjoy.
If your child missed out, Wendy has agreed to teach one more week of Monart in late July. Register now! Her classes are filling up already!
